We successfully delivered more than 100 large ground satellite and microwave terminals with antennas’ diameter which vary from 3 to 34 meters and thousands of GCE (Ground Communication Equipment) subsystems.

Elie Levy - Founder & President, Linkcom Telecom Ltd.
Elie Levy is a visionary leader, Pioneer in bringing satcom technology in Israel and a prominent figure in the satellite communications (satcom) industry. With decades of experience spanning aerospace engineering, satellite technology, and business management, he has made a lasting impact on global telecommunications and defense systems.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Elie pursued his passion for engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, earning both a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering. Over the years, he also gained expertise in industrial automation, satellite communications, and advanced business management through prestigious international programs.
Elie’s career is marked by an exceptional trajectory. He began as a research engineer in France before serving as a senior officer in the Israeli Air Force (IAF), retiring with the rank of Colonel. In this role, he led high-stakes initiatives, including serving as a liaison officer to Dassault Aviation. Post-retirement, he transitioned to the private sector, where he directed system and product marketing efforts in satcom technologies working under Andrew Viterbi at Linkabit in San-Diego.
In 1985, Elie founded Linkcom Telecom Ltd., where he continues to lead as President. Under his stewardship, the company has become a key player in the design, integration, and marketing of cutting-edge telecom solutions, including satellite earth stations and microwave link systems. His expertise extends to aerospace system engineering, missile defense architectures, and life-cycle management of sophisticated systems.
Elie has also contributed extensively to academic and professional communities, authoring numerous papers on satellite communications, missile defense, and system optimization. A polyglot fluent in six languages, he is a member of the Israeli Air Force Safety Committee and the Israeli Association of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
With a career defined by innovation and leadership, Elie Levy continues to shape the future of the satcom industry—and when not innovating, he may be indulging his love for French history, having earned not one but two MAs in the subject, just for fun.
Zak Levi - CEO/CTO
Zak Levi joined Linkcom-Telecom as a System Engineer in 2007, bringing a wealth of multidisciplinary expertise and insights gained from his experience in the high-tech industry, academia, and the Israeli military. He holds both a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, graduating at the top of his class with honors.
An accomplished expert in digital communications, signal processing, and information theory, Zak has an extensive background in algorithm development for single-carrier and OFDM modems. His work involved designing and implementing advanced algorithms for timing and frequency synchronization, time and frequency domain equalization, and iterative forward error correction. His innovative contributions earned him a U.S. patent (US8537925B2) for an apparatus and method to compensate for signal imbalance in a receiver.
Zak’s military service with the Israeli Air Force (IAF) enriched his expertise in antenna and RF systems. During his early years at Linkcom-Telecom, he spearheaded the engineering and technical teams, introducing structured methodologies and in-depth technical knowledge. His hands-on field experience provided him with a holistic perspective that bridges multiple disciplines, from IP and physical layers to RF and control systems.
Now serving as CEO and CTO, Zak continues to lead Linkcom-Telecom’s engineering and systems teams, driving innovation and excellence across all aspects of the company’s operations.
